Carefully disperse the "Carbopol" 941 resin in half the water. Add the sodium hydroxide while stirring. In a separate container, disperse the zirconium oxide in the remainder of the watr, then add this the mucilage of "Carbopol" 941 slowly, in a steady stream, with agitation. Note: It is very important to add the ingredients in the proper order. If the pigment is added before the sodium hydroxide, it will immediately flocculate. The pH oof the neutralized mucilage of "Carbopol" 941 resin must be at least 9.5 to prevent flocculation.
