Combine water, triethanolamine, lecithin, propylene glycol, and PVP-K-30. Heat to 70 C and stir until uniform. Add pigments and recirculate with colloid mill. Set mill at 4 and mill into a jacketed vessel with scraping-type agitation. Stop milling. Add pearl pigments, mix until uniform and deaerate. Slowly add 15 sol'n. of "Carbopol" 940 (previously prepared) and stir until a uniform gel results. Cool to ambient temperature. The formulation can be varied with any of the "Timiron" and "Soloron" pigments. "Mibiron" and "Biron" pigments should be used in the form of an aqueous dispersion. Interesting color effects are achievable through replacement of the inorganic pigment with various levels of "Colorona" pigments. If ultramarine-blue pigments are used, adjust pH to 6.5 by varying triethanolamine content. If "mango Viole" C43-001 is used, keep pH at 7.5.
