At pasteurizing temperatures mix hydrogenated vegetable oil, salt, and "Promine-D" together, add the water and stir thoroughly. Pasteurize at 160'F for 30 minutes, add the lactate or the lactic acid and homogenize. Add desired flavor before or after cooling. Store under refrigeration. (Makes approximately 1 pound)
