Anesthetic Lubricant

配方组成:

Powdered Tragacanth/1.5 g
Benzalkonium Chloride, (12.8%)/0.1 c
Ethanol/5.0 cc
Distilled Water/To make 100.0 cc
Dibucaine Hydrochloride/0.5 g
Glycerol/20.0 cc

配制方法:

Suspend the tragacanth in the ethanol in a large conical graduate and add to this suspension rapidly the "dibucaine" and glycerol dissolved in 70 cc of the water. Stir vigorously for several minutes, dissolve the benzalkonium chloride, and add sufficient water to make 100 cc. Stir again and allow to stand for about one hour. Viscosity can be controlled by varying amount of glycerol.
