配方说明:

Electrode Jelly (For Electrocardiograph)

配方组成:

Pumice Powder/8 lb
Glycerol/24 oz
Gum Tragacanth/8 oz
Carbolic Acid/1 oz
Sodium Chloride/6.5 lb
Water/2 gal
Potassium Bitartrate/4 oz

配制方法:

Heat the gum tragacanth and glycerol in half the volume of water for 6 hours. Dissolve the potassium bitartrate and sodium chloride in the remaining volume of water and add to preceding. Stir the resulting mixture thoroughly with an electric mixer and heat it again for a hour.
Then add the carbolic acid and pumice together with more water if necessary, and mix the whole again to a creamy consistency.
