Heat the water to boiling and dissolve the preservative in it. Split this volume in half. To one half, add and dissolve the CMC. In the other half, disperse the magnesium aluminum silicate. Mix the two phases slowly with agitation. Mix in the "Sorbo." Add and dissolve the cyclamate sodium. Add and disperse the two hydroxides, mixing well. Mill the preparation if necessary to disperse insolubles. Add flavors and then sufficient quantity of water to make the total volume 1000 ml.
