Ointment Base (Hydrous)

配方组成:

Sulfur
Balsam Peru
Heat and mix the components on a water bath to 158'F (70'C) until
homogeneous, remove heat and stir until congealed.
This hydrous base is glossy, white, semi-solid and more like a cosmetic
cream than the anhydrous preparations. It can be kept at 109'F (43'C)
without separating and it loses little or no water at room temperature
in an open container after several weeks. It maintains stability after
the addition of up to 10 per cent of water or an aqueous solution.
It is compatible with the following medicaments
"Carbowax" Polyethylene Glycol 4000/40
Salicylic Acid (6% or less)
Phenol
"Span" Emulsifier 40/1
"Carbowax" Polyethylene Glycol 4000/50
Zinc Oxide
Coal Tar
Ammoniated Mercury
Water/9
Ichthammol
