Formula 1 has a viscosity of 4 poises and requires very slight agitation to produce the emulsion of the desired concentration. The emulsion formed by this concentrate is very stable, exhibits very low foaming properties, and has extremely high surface tension. The last property apparently has two advantages. It keeps the insecticide on the foliage without too rapid a run-off and penetrates less into the foliage, thus reducing the possibility of destruction of the plant.
