Parathion with "Emulsifier S-1132" forms a concentrate without the use of a solvent, which may then be added directly to water to give a clear solution. An approximate formula for this is 25 to 35% parathion and 65 to 75% S-1132. One half pound of this concentrate is generally added to 100 gal. of water. Formulae 1 and 2 have a stability of at least 6 days in hard or soft water (1% parathion concentration). Also at one time interest was expressed in solubilized parathion and formula 3 was developed for very stable "solutions."
