*To make lime water-glycerol soln.---To each 10.6 g cold water add 1.0 g
Stearic Acid/0.64
glycerol. Add USP calcium hydroxide to make a supersaturated solution.
Stopper and let stand at least one hour, stirring occasionally. Filter:
Microcrystalline Wax (170 m.p.)/5.00

配制方法:

To oils at 68'C, add the slightly warmed lime water-glycerol solution. Mix until cool and remix thoroughly the following day.
The addition of 0.2% sorbitan sesquioleate increases the stability with very little whitening effect.
If preferred, calcium stearate may be used in place of the stearic acid and lime water-glycerol solution.
