The smoked sheets are milled onn a cool tight mill for approximately one-half hour. The "Nevastain" B, zinc oxide, stearic acid, soft clay, whiting, "R-29 Neville" Resinn-25', "Altax," "Captax," and sulfur are added in that order. The compound can then be dissolved in a rubber solvent. The adhesive film, after the solvent evaporates, can then be press-cured from eight to twelve minutes at 315'F.
