various urethane catalysts can be used with "PAPI." In a "Pluracol" PEP-450/"PAPI" foam, the longest rise time and the weakest foam will be obtained with the weaker catalysts, such as N-methylmorpholine, even though large amounts are used. The shortest rise time and the strongest foam can be obtained with the stronger catalysts such as N,N,N',N'-tetramethyl-2,3-butanediamine. Satisfactory foams can also result from other catalysts when allowance is made for the slower reactivity of "PAPI."
