These concentrates are prepared by dissolving lindane in the solvents and then adding the emulsifier. Storage tests of 1 week's duration indicate that they remain clear and homogeneous at room temperature and at 37'F. "Antaroxes" A-400, B-201, and B-290, at varying concentrations and in combination with various solvents, give lindane emulsions having a wide range of stability. For emulsion stability in hard or soft water of over 3 days, formulae 1 to 4 are recommended. Formulae 5 and 6 are offered where quickbreaking emulsions are desired. Formula 7 is a free-flowing wettable powder which forms very stable dispersions on dilution with hard or soft water.
