This formulation produces fast drying films with exceptional sanding
properties.
Formula No.1 is made by dissolving the resin in the alcohol and adding
the "Zein G200" to the stirred solution and stirring until the Zein is
dissolved.
formula No.2 is prepared by mixing the oleic acid and zinc stearate and
slowly adding the toluene. The resin is dissolved in the other solvents
and the Zein is then stirred into this resin solution. When the Zein has
dissolved the oleic acid, zinc stearate mixture is stirred into the
Zein-resin solution.

配制方法:

for the best clarity, this is prepared by dissolving the resin and oleic acid in a mixture of the Methyl "Cellosolve" and part of the alcohol, and then stirring the "Zein G200" into this solution until dissolved. When solution is complete it is diluted with the remaining alcohol. The amount of dilution alcohol may be varied to obtain the solids concentration desired. The Methyl "Cellosolve" may be substituted by alcohol if faster drying is desired.
