This type of stitching is more economical than conventional stitching. The compound performs well and may have additional applications as a general textile-seaming adhesive. The compound should be diluted with water to 20 per cent solids or less for longer shelf stability. The concentrated formulation, with approximately 65% solids, has a tendency to "set up" on long standing.
