Compound C has been evaluated as a non-hardening adhesive for sticking aluminum foil to the top edge of polypropylene jars. Tests show adhesion is good, and the foil can still be peeled off the lip with a little effort. Compound C is also useful as a seaming cement for bonding coated paper board stock to noncoated stock. Tests on an acrylic pigment-coated board and on a board coated with a vinylidene chloride barrier show partial tearing of paper after 20 seconds and total tearing after 24 hours.
