配制方法:
Boil the first six ingredients for about 20 minutes, chop the suet and citron with the apples, mix the "Spiceolate" with a few pounds of the sugar, spread evenly over the batch, and mix thoroughly. If desired, 100 lb. of glucose can be substituted for 75 lb. of granulated sugar, but the product must be labeled "containing glucose." If a preservative is to be added, use 1 lb. of benzoate of soda for the batch and label accordingly.
