Using the Disperse or acetate dyes, this solution can be used to surface dye molded nylon items. The amount of dyestuff used will vary with the color desired and with the depth of color. Operate the dye bath at 210'F and leave the pieces in for at least one hour. Following the dyeing operation they should be placed in water at 210'F for at least 30 min. This is followed by rinsing and drying. for example, molded nylon items may be dyed to a rich black by using 8-10 g/l of Celliton Fast Black BTNA.
