"Nopcolube" 1400-M is applied as an over-treatment to nylon flock from a short bath containing 5% "Nopcolube" 1400-M. If a 25% wet pick-up is obtained, 0.4% solids of "Nopcolube" 1400-M will be deposited onto the nylon flock. The bath should be held at a pH of 7.0 to 8.0. If acid is carried over into the finish box, the stearate will precipitate, resulting in an unstable finish system.
