Butter/8 oz. Sift together Water/2 lb. 4 oz. Whole Eggs/14 oz. Vanilla Extract/0.5 oz. Granulated Sugar/2 lb. Water/6 lb. 12 oz. "Breadlac" Nonfat Dry Milk Solids/1 lb. 4 oz. Cornstarch/9 oz. Salt/0.25 oz. Bitter Chocolate/9 oz.

Sift the dry mix into this and make a smooth paste. Add this cream slowly to the boiling syrup, stirring until it thickens. Remove from the fire. Fill into baked shells in deep tins. When cool, top with whipped cream. If meringue is used, dust with powdered sugar, place in an oven, and color to a golden brown. This makes ten 9-in. pies.
