The can should be held 8-12 in. from the object being sprayed. use oscillating motion while spraying to insure a uniform, smooth coating. Overspraying in one place causes sags and runs. The No.1 formulation, because it utilizes a leafing pigment, has a silver colored coating but will show some slight pigment rub-off unless cures by heat. Curing during use is sufficient and at temperatures from 300-400'F, this occurs quite rapidly. the No.2, because it has a nonleafing pigment, provides a much duller surface than No.1, but when tackfree shows no pigment rub-off and a tougher film. However, its properties are also much improved during exposure to heat.
