Melt the first four ingredients together and stir in the diatomaceous earth to make a thick paste. Then add the Aminomethyl-propanol and water-mixed together and warmed to approximately 75'C-to the warm melt with very vigorous agitation. The use of a colloid mill for this operation gives excellent results. The proportions of diatomaceous earth, mineral oil, and naphtha may be varied within a reasonable range depending on the grades of the ingredients used and upon the characteristics desired in the cleaner-polish.
