Saccharin/0.05 Chalk/38.0 Dissolve the sodium lauryl sulfate in one third of the water. Mix the "Sorbo," sodium saccharine and 6% "Carbopol" solution with the rest of the water. This will be a thin solution. Blend the two solutions carefully to avoid foaming. Slowly add the sodium hydroxide to neutralize the "Carbopol" 934 while gently stirring. The solution will become thick as the neutralization progresses. Slowly mix in the calcium phosphate. Stir until the particles are wetted out and all the lumps are broken up. Mill and deaerate the batch on conventional equipment. Add the flavoring during the last stages of milling to avoid evaporation loss. Tube the product. FORMULA No.3 (Low Foam) A: "VEEGUM"/1.50 Sodium carboxymethylcellulose (med, visc.)/0.80 Water/28.05 B: Saccharin/0.15 Water/2.00 C: Sorbitol (70% soln.)/15.00 Glycerin/10.00 D: Dicalcium phosphate dihydrate/30.00 Tricalcium phosphate/10.00
配制方法:
Dry blend the "VEEGUM" F and the CMC. Add the water slowly, agitating continually until smooth. Add B to A. Add C and D alternately to A and B with mixing. Add E to the mixture, mixing until smooth. Add F to the other components with a minimum of slow mixing to avoid incorporation of air. This formula will have a thin mixing viscosity but, due to the thixotropic nature of "VEEGUM," will set up in the tube.
