This composition is applied by knife/roll coater to a cotton fabric
and rayon flock is applied. The fabric is cured at 300'F. for about 4
minutes.

The addition of tackifying resins to the "adhesive" compound will not

improve the results if the process is carried out as specified above.

If, however, the flock is applied to a gelled layer of latex, then a
tackifying resin may improve the adhesion by increasing the natural
stickiness of the wet gel. None the less it is unlikely that this
approach would give as good adhesion as the method previously suggested.
