"Q-Loid" A-30 dispersion is an effective extrusion aid and internal binder for refractory compositions, and a binder for alumina-silica fibers. Normally, dilutions to 5-20% solids of "Q-Loid" A-30 dispersion are employed in refractory mixes, to provide improved green strength and increased fired strength.
Used as a binder for vacuum-cast alumina-silica fibers, "Q-Loid" A-30 dispersion reduces swelling during drying and increases the dried product's structural strength.
