Sunscreen Cream

Prepare A by completely dispersing the "Carbopol" resin in the blend
of water, Sorbitol, and preservative. When the dispersion is uniform,
add the triethanolamine. Heat A and B to 75'C and add B to A with
vigorous agitation. When an emulsion forms, slowly add the "Filtrosol"
A-1000. Then begin to cool the emulsion. When the temperature is 45'C,
add the perfume. Continue cooling down to 30'C.

配制方法:

Disperse "Carbopol" 934 in a blend of water, sorbitol, and Butyl-p-Hydroxybenzoate. Add one part triethanolamine. Make a second blend of lanolin, isopropyl myristate, cetyl alcohol, and stearic acid.
Heat both blends to 75'C and add the second to the first with vigorous mechanical agitation. Adjust the pH of the "Uvinul" MS-40 solution by adding 2.67 parts by weight of triethanolamine; slowly add the adjusted solution to the emulsion formed from mixing the two blends. Cool the emulsion rapidly to 30'C; add the perfume when a temperature of 45'C is reached. The final product is a smooth, homogenous light tan cream with good body.
Note: This formulation is a possible composition for a suntan cream. The concentration of Uvinul MS-40 may be increased to 10-12% (100% basis) for total sunscreening effect. The product can easily be packaged in a plastic squeeze tube or ointment jar.
