Water/95.25 These rinses should be diluted for use at the rate of one tablespoonful per 8 oz of water. These formulations are prepared as follows. To obtain a product of proper viscosity and satisfactory resistance to stratification, the temperature must not be less than 80'C (176'F) during the processing, and the surfactant must be fused and thoroughly mixed before charging. 1. Charge the water and heat to 80'C (176'F) i na vessel equipped with agitation. Agitate throughout the entire operation at a slow speed to prevent entrapment of air bubbles. 2. Add the powdered cetyl alcohol and agitate slowly until it is melted. 3. Fuse "Triton" CG-400 or "Triton" CG-500 at 55-70'C (130-160'F) in a separate vessel (or in a hot room) and mix thoroughly before weighing. 4. Charge the "Triton" CG- surfactant hot to the water and cetyl alcohol and continue slow agitation at 80'C (176'F) at least 30 min to provide an emulsion of maximum stability.
