Place isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate, "Pluronic" L-121 polyol, light mineral oil, perfume, and color in container. Gently mix a few minutes until product is clear and homogeneous. Transfer to containers. Final product is a clear fluid liquid. This floating bath oil spreads rapidly and evenly in warm wter, from 45-60'C. the oil remains in a continuous film and thereby coats the body in an even manner. As the temperature drops, the oil exhibits much less tendency to break up into droplets, as compared to bath oils based on other types of spreading agents. The above formulation could be altered by varying the relative ratio of the isopropyl myristate, isopropyl palmitate mixture, and light mineral oil, or by replacing the light mineral oil with heavy mineral oil or another oil, suitably fortified with antioxidant, if needed.
