This is formula is used to produce an antique finish on pewter,
which is immersed until the surface darkens.

Water/1 l
Temperature/60-90'C
Ammonium Chloride/2 oz
Nitric Acid/5% by volume
Arsenious Oxide/20 oz
Copper Sulfate/1/3 oz/gal

配制方法:

The parts are made anodic in this solution at a C.D. of 40 amp/ft^2.
This process gives a hard, easily polished black.
