Dry Sausages/Dip sausages or casing prior to stuffing in 2.5% potassium
or vinegar./0.05-0.1%
Pet Foods (semi-moist)/Direct addition of potassium sorbate./0.1-0.3%
Smoked Fish (all types)/Dip or spray with 5.0% solution of potassium
Fruit Beverages Beverage Syrups Table Syrups/Direct addition to fluid
portion./0.025-0.075% (or as prescribed by standards of identity)
sorbate solution.
Margarine/Direct addition of potassium sorbate./0.05-0.1% ascorbic acid
Wine (still type)/Direct addition as potassium sorbate/0.02-0.04% to
inhibit yeast fermentation, this amount may effect a 25% reduction in
sulfur dioxide.
Fresh-Packed Salads Slaw, potato, vegetable/Direct addition of potassium
sorbate./0.05-0.15%
