Carefully disperse the "Carbopol" 941 resin in half the water, and then neutralize with the sodium hydroxide. Separately disperse the "Titanox" 1000 in the remaining water and add this slowly to the mucilage of "Carbopol" 941 resin. Stir to uniformity. Note: No settling is noted on aging but there is a tendency for the suspension to form a weak gel. This gel reverts to a fluid on very slight stirring and can be handled easily. It is readily diluted with water if desired.
