Formula No.1: After mixing, heat for 2 h at 60'C and then cool. A suitable procedure for teat manufacture is as follows: 1. Immerse a polished former (e.g., chrome-plated aluminum or steel) in the latex and withdraw slowly. 2. Dry the film thoroughly; 3 min at 70'C is suitable. 3. Immerse the hot former into a coagulant such as 35% cyclohexylamine acetate solution in methylated spirits or 30% calcium nitrate in methylated spirits and withdraw slowly. 4. Allow the solvent to evaporate, immerse the former in the latex and allow to dwell for 60 s. Now slowly withdraw the former and dry the latex deposit for 20 min at 70'C. 5. Repeat coagulant dip as Step 3. 6. Repeat latex dip as Step 4. 7. Roll the bead, and give the teat a further drying for 10 min at 70'C. 8. Strip the teat from the former under water, and leach for 20 h in cold water. 9. Dry the wet teat in an air-oven at 70'C until transparent. 10. Immerse the teat in a chlorinating bath (0.3% chlorine) for 3 min
