Add the sodium hydroxide, mixing carefully to avoid foaming. Note: The amount of "Carbopol" 934 resin can be altered to vary consistency. Merely maintain the 10% sodium hydroxide at a ratio of 4.2 lb/lb of "Carbopol" resin. The viscosity of this formulation is high enough to prevent running of the remover when applied to the wall, yet not so viscous that the water and wetting agent penetration into the paper is retarded.
