place 195.0 parts ethanol (95%) into a tank equipped with an agitator. add 100 parts PVAP slowly with agitation to avoid lumping. stir until completely dissolved, then add 2.03 parts stearic acid predissolved in 10.17 parts "chorothene" NU. flush the stearic acid solution container with the remaining 11.5 parts ethanol (95%) and add to the tank. stir for 1 h more then stop agitation and allow entrapped air to escape. let the solution stand until it is completely clear.
