in preparing the compostition to be dpray-dried, produce sodium citrate by neutralizing 23.5 pts. liquid citric acid (50%) with 14.7 pts. sodium hydroxide (50% sol'n.). the addition and neutralization should be done slowly and cautionsly under agiation as the reaction is highly exothermic. the silicate, carbonate, surfactants, sodium sulfate, optical brightener, and antiredeposition agent should be added to the neutralized solution. the slurry should be spray-dried. the fragrance can be postblended with the granular spry-dried detergent product.
