in preparing the composition to be spray-dried, produce sodium citrate by neutralizing 26.2 pts. of liquid citric acid (50%) with 16.3 pts. of sodium hydroxide (50% sol'n.). the addition and neutralization should be done slowly and cautiously under agitation because the reaction is highly exothermic. add sodium carbonate, metasilicate, and surfactant to the neutralized solution. the slurry should be spray-dried to a granular composition. the fragrance and chlorinated cyanurate should be post-blended with the spray-dried product.
