If flame resistance is desired, slightly less antimony trioxide may be substituted for the "Surfex." When fungicides are incorporated, these formulations may be considered fungus resistant. Suitable fungicides are "milmer I," copper naphthenate, and copper-8-quinolinolate. In formula 8, the incorporation of 18.7 parts 6% copper naphthenate and 2.33 parts copper-8-quinolinolate, plus substitution of antimony trioxide for "Surfex", will result in an organosol which will meet most government specifications for mildew resistance, ultraviolet-light stability, flameproofness, and low-temperature characteristics.
