add "polymer JR"-125 to water with stirring until solubilization is complete (heat will accelerate the process after the polymeris dispersed). add the remining ingredients except "standamid" LD and citric acid. melt the "standamid" LD in a separate vessel, and add to the rest of the mixture. stir thoroughly with light heating. finally, adjust pH with citric acid. NOTE: this formulation makes a very high viscosity shampoo. if a lower viscosity is desired, a liquid super amide can be substituted for the "standamid" LD.
