place half the evaporated milk, sugar, "freshvert," corn syrup, and coconut oil into a kettle. bring the batch to a boil with constant stirring. while keeping the batch at a constant boil, gradually add the remaining evaporated milk. cook to 236-238 F. add the salt and the fondant, mix until melted. add the flavor, mix well. apply to the pecan roll centers. this coating may be used as a coating on fudge, nougat rolls, apples, etc.
