water/40 fl oz
stir until dissolved.
powdered gum arabic/1 oz
b) silver nitrate/4 oz
powdered gum arabic/4 oz
water/10 fl oz
a) soda ash/1 oz
lampblack/2 oz

配制方法:

stir this in a glass or porcelain dish until dissolved. do not expose the mixture to strong light or it will spoil. then pour into a brown glass bottle. in using these solutions. wet the cloth with solution a and allow to dry. then write on it with solution b using a quill pen.
