add the "carbopol" resin(s) to the blend of iol, hydrophobic surfactant, and antifoam. agitate slowly for 5-10 min. premix the ammonium hydroxide and water. slowly add the dilute ammonium hydroxide solution to the weeted-out mixture of "carbopol" resin. for best results, add the solution at a constant rate. if a variable drive mixer is available, increase the agitation form slow to moderate or higher.mix for 15-20 min after all the ammonium hydroxide has been added. add the hydrophilic srfactant and mix for 5-10 min.
