add the "carbopol" resin(s) to the blend of oil, hydrophobic sur-factant, and antifoam. agitate slowly for 5-10 min. premix the ammonium hydroxide and water. slowly add the dilute ammonium hydroxide solution to the wetted-out mixture of "carbopol" resin. for best results, add the solution at a constant rate. if a variable drive mixer is availabel, increase the agitation form slow to moderatre or higher. mix for 15-20 min after all the ammonoum hydroxide has been added. add the hyerophilic surfactant and mix for 5-10 min.
