this formulation has been prepared in kg batches in a 1.3 gal ball mill half filled with 1 1/4 in. burundum cylinders. add all ingredients, except "kelzan" , to the mill in the order listed. mix until the carbaryl particles are approx. 7.5-8 μm (coulter counter). when using a ball mill, about 5 h of grinding time is required to achieve the desired particle size. add the "kelzan" and mill for 15 or until completely dissolved.
