Polyethylene is difficult to plasticize without exudation of the plasticizer and a hazy finished product. The addition of 2% diglycol stearate S, incorporated directly with the molding powders, has been reported to plasticize polyethylene effectively. The surface of the plastic is left smooth and a very clear bright product is obtained.
