Zinc Oxide and Starch/24.25
Ethyl Aminobenzoate/5.00
Iodine and Potassium Iodide/4.00
Ichthammol/10.00
Yellow Mercuric Oxide/1.00
Phenol/3.00
Resorcinol/10.00
Precipitated Sulfur/15.00
Tannic Acid and/20.00
Exsiccated Sodium Sulfite/0.20
Zinc Oxide/20.00
Zinc Oxide and Starch/25.00
Melt the "Carbowax" 4000 in the 1,2,6-hexanetriol at 60 to 70'C. on
a water bath. Add the melt to the "Carbowax" 400 and stir.
Most major ointment ingredients are soluble in this base in the
following generally-used concentrations.
