The formula is given as parts by weight; by the use of proper color combinations, a full range of shades may be developed. The "Ammonyx," "Tegacid," "Lanogel," and "Polawax" are heated together to 80'C. Half of the water is heated to 85'C. with the urea. The rest of the water is mixed with the certified colors and heated to 70'C. The urea solution is slowly poured into the melted fats with constant agitation and allowed to mix until the temperature drops to 70'C. The dye solution is added and mixing continued until the temperature reaches 45'C., when the perfume is added. continue agitation with external cooling until room temperature is reached.
