Cements which will cure at room temperature or slightly above are particularly useful for fabrication and repair. These require ultra accelerator combinations. In making such cements the so-called split batch technique is used. This consists of making complimentary batches, each containing one element of the accelerator combination, solvating separately and blending just prior to application. by this method precure and loss is minimized. Similarly, The cement may be made up to contain everything but the accelerator and this may be added later with a small amount of solvent.
