Separately mix Part A and Part B and then slowly add Part B to A with vigorous mixing. When mixing the aqueous phase into the oil phase, the addition should be done slowly at first to prevent inversion of the emulsion. After all the water has been added, mix at high speed for 5-10 min. Notes: Emulsion viscosity depends, to a certain extent, on the amount of shear used to put the emulsion together. High-shear mixers such as an Eppenbach or a stirrer equipped with a Cowles impeller are recommended.
