The latex mix is matured, strained, and transferred to a dipping tank. Porcelain or aluminum formers at 40-50 C are dipped into a calcium nitrate coagulant and then into the latex. After the required thickness of latex deposit has been obtained, the formers are withdrawn and dried. The gloves are then stripped from the former, leached, and vulcanized: flock may also be applied after dipping. It is customary to reduce the surface friction of the gloves by immersion in dilute chlorine solution for a few seconds, followed by washing and drying.
