Novol/2.00
Polychol 5/3.00
SD-40 Ethanol (95%)/46.00
Perfume (1.5-5%)/q.s.
Polawax A.31/1.25
Procedure is the same as for above formulas for alcoholic emulsion
skin balms but it should be noted that the water/alcohol ratio is
critical and may require adjustment depending on perfume and
concentration.
Note: The lightness and stability of the foam puff may be improved, if
needed, by the addition of 0.5% Carbopol 941.
To produce a stable foam it may be necessary to lower the concentration
of alcohol inn the formula because of the superior compatibility of
hydrocarbons inn hydroalcoholic systems
